The PRIUM Difference
PRIUM's culture is based around a customer-centered approach to doing business. Our customer satisfaction is ultimately a reflection of our products and services, so we adhere to a complete “turnkey” approach that begins with a need and ends with a solution.
PRIUM Product Innovation
At PRIUM, we pride ourselves on product innovation. We feel as though it is critical to be ever-evolving. As a result, our product development team is constantly molding and creating products and services to successfully meet a direct need for our customers. Our innovative efforts have allowed PRIUM to become pioneers in the medical cost management industry. In fact, PRIUM is the first Utilization Management company to offer Workers' Compensation medication management services focused on peer-to-peer discussion, enforcement through the pharmacy benefit management system, and oversight by trained nurses to ensure implementation of treatment changes.
Case Studies
PRIUM’s focus is to ensure only medically appropriate drugs are being used for the injured worker’s care. Our case studies illustrate the type of savings that can be realized for our clients through PRIUM’s Physican Pharmaceutical Review (PPR) Program. View More
Workers’ Compensation Cost Management
All PRIUM pharmacy reviews are conducted in a peer-to-peer, collegial environment utilizing active-practicing physicians from our nationwide network in coordination with all pertinent treating physicians. One of the most important aspects of the review process that PRIUM excels in is securing this discussion and the subsequent agreement to regimen change. View More
Utilization Review/Management
These clinical reviews are conducted prior to a claimant’s episode of care. (Based on the jurisdiction, they can also be termed Pre-Authorization or Pre-Certification.) They facilitate the proactive management of clinical resources, mandated by either the jurisdiction or the payer, and are used to bring an injured worker back to health and return them to work. Liability Cost Management
These clinical reviews are conducted to address excessive and even fraudulent medical treatment related to auto liability BI (bodily injury) and PIP (personal injury protection) claims. This is especially true for low-impact accidents with soft-tissue damage, a nationwide issue. View More
